What is FanProfile?
FanProfile is a public faculty directory. Each professor gets a page with biography, academic history, research interests, publications and contact details, and visitors can search by name, department or field.
How is it different from Google Scholar or ResearchGate?
Those are personal profiles on third-party sites. FanProfile holds the university's official profiles on its own domain, organized by department, with a REST API so other university systems can read the same data.
Can it sync publications automatically?
The University plan includes Scopus/ORCID sync, so publication lists don't have to be typed in by hand.
How much does FanProfile cost?
Cloud plans are Faculty at $45/month for up to 200 bilingual profiles and University at $119/month for unlimited profiles plus department pages. Enterprise cloud is quoted per project. The on-premise licence is a one-time $2,400 with unlimited users and 1 year of updates and support, renewing at 20% a year.
