Frequently asked questions
What does FanDesk do?
FanDesk is a helpdesk and ticketing system. Tickets move through open, in-progress, on-hold and closed states with priorities and assignment, SLA policies set due dates, and a searchable knowledge base plus reporting dashboards sit alongside the ticket queue.
How much does FanDesk cost?
Cloud plans are Starter at $29/month for up to 3 agents, Team at $69/month for up to 10 agents, and Business at $139/month for unlimited agents and branches. The on-premise licence is a one-time $2,900 with unlimited users and 1 year of updates and support, renewing at 20% a year.
Can we host FanDesk on our own servers?
Yes. It runs with Docker on your own infrastructure. The Business plan includes a self-hosted deployment option, and the on-premise licence installs it on your servers so ticket data never leaves your network.
How are SLA due dates calculated?
SLA policies are rule-based and count only your business hours and skip holidays, so a ticket opened on Friday evening is not marked overdue over the weekend.
Which notification channels are supported?
Email, Telegram, SMS and in-app alerts, configured per event and per role. Starter includes email and Telegram; SMS notifications start on the Team plan.
Does FanDesk support right-to-left languages?
Yes. The interface has full RTL support for Persian and LTR for English, with direction switching, and can model multiple branches, departments and teams with branch-level permissions.
